How I work
I like to talk shop. I like to reflect on how and why I do the things I do in the way that I do them.
I also like to read about how other people do their things.
So, this is my page elaborating about my work methods, the tools I use now or have been in the past.
Some examples of subjects I would like to touch upon
- how this website is created
- how I program - or the thing I do when I tell the computer to do stuff for me. This will also venture into the age of AI
- computational thinking - a fuzzy term
- what I do at work
- is Mathematica the ultimate platform?
- docx, \(\LaTeX\), Markdown, HTML, org, troff, plain text, ...
- Emacs, Vim, VS Code, Intellij \(X\), Netbeans, Xcode, ed, ...
- being a layperson language lover. Being a layperson anything lover
- could legalese be considered as a kind of human programming language?
- the tools I use and why I use exctly those and not others — yes, I reflect a lot, but as Socrates supposedly said "The unexamined life is not worth living" (wikipidia)
- ...
